Mariano, founder of Patagonia-Biking, has always been committed to protecting nature. Since 1992 he has led the campaign “Pedaling for Life” and today he actively collaborates with One Tree Planted, inviting everyone to be part of reforestation.

In 2021 we organized a bikepacking adventure journey between El Calafate and Ushuaia, free for everyone who shared the dream of a better planet. We invite you to the next edition in January. It’s free for those who make a voluntary tree donation.

A 1150 km bikepacking adventure through the heart of Patagonia. It’s not just a journey, it’s an act of love for the Earth.
GENERAL INFO
➡️ DATES:
January 3, 2027 – Meetup in El Calafate
January 16, 2027 – Arrival in Ushuaia
🚴♂️ TRIP TYPE:
Bikepacking / Self-supported bike touring with panniers.
Multi-day touring experience is required and you must be ready for long stages.
The Patagonian wind and weather can be tough, but in a group everything is easier, safer and more fun. We help each other and collaborate, always.
🗺️ THE ROUTE:
From El Calafate to Ushuaia, through Argentinian and Chilean Patagonia. 1150 km in 12 stages at a sustainable pace, with time to be together and enjoy the landscape.
We will cross:
Torres del Paine National Park, Puerto Natales, Punta Arenas, Strait of Magellan, Lake Fagnano and Tierra del Fuego National Park.
You can join us for the full route or just for some sections.

To join, just donate a minimum of 2 trees = 2€ to One Tree Planted.
